The Apostle John gives insight into God’s Kingdom in the Book of Revelation. He describes the city of God (the New Jerusalem) in detail. The New Testament teaches about Jesus establishing a literal government on earth for a thousand years (the millennial reign). Jesus Christ, along with His Bride, will rule over the earth during this time.
After the millennial reign, the Father will appear with the New Jerusalem. He will destroy the heavens and the earth and create a new heaven and a new earth. His children will spend eternity with Him and Jesus Christ in the Kingdom of God.
