Sound Doctrine was written for the purpose of exposing the lies infiltrating the church today and instructing us on the principals found in the Word of God that are "sound doctrines" or as someone may say "do doctrines".

Strong's Concordance gives us the Greek definition of "sound" as found in 2 Timothy 4:3- 4: (#5198) to have health, be well (in body), to be uncorrupt. Accordingly, the word "doctrine" means (#1319) instruction - the function or the information.
